HOW DO YOU HALFTERNOON?



There is something so precious about having a few hours to yourself, and is something I really try to appreciate and fully enjoy. Being a student means I don’t have much of a set routine, so some weeks I spend more time in the library than at home and sometimes I can Halternoon whenever I fancy. 

A Holly halfternoon might include: a half-hour solo dance party in my bedroom, a cup of tea and a Netflix series (currently Jane the Virgin) in my dressing gown, a chatty phone call catch-up with my mum or my sister or a hungover snuggle on my friends sofa to debrief on all the escapades from our latest night out.



WHAT WOULD BE A DREAM HALFTERNOON?


I thought long and hard about my dream halfternoon, and I think it would probably go something like this. 

Me and my sis would catch a train into London, have a wander around Covent Garden and then see a matinee of a West End show (including an over-priced pre-show gin and tonic and an over-priced interval ice-cream). Afterwards, pizza for dinner and then probably a sing of our favourite songs from the show on the way home.

I’m a psychology student at the University of Surrey, about to finish my fourth and final year, so at the moment I spend my time between the uni library and the uni nightclub. I like dogs, Wagamama katsu curry and buying things that I can’t afford.
